Idaho Horse Council Educational Scholarship Program
Current Enrolled College Students Information And General Requirements
The Idaho Horse Council, A Non-Profit Association, Is Composed Of Organizations Across The State Involved In The Equine Industry. In 1999, The Council's Board Of Directors Voted To Fund Up To Three Scholarships Annually. Scholarships Are Being Offered For The Current School Year For Graduates Of Idaho High Schools. The Ihc Reserves The Right To Vary The Number Of Scholarships Awarded Based On The Entries As Scored By The Judges, And Funds Available. Scholarship Applications Must Be Received At The Idaho Horse Council Office By April 5, 2021.
Applicants Must Be Legal Residents Of The State Of Idaho.
College Applicants Must Have Graduated From An Accredited Idaho High School.
Applications Must Be Completely Filled Out And Signed By The Applicant. An Original,8" X 10", Black And White, Full Face (Portrait) Photo Of The Applicant Must Accompany The Application. Pictures And Applications Become The Property Of The Idaho Horse Council And Will Not Be Returned.
No Youth That Is A Member Of The Immediate Family Of An Officer, Member Of The Boardof Directors, Or Paid Personnel Of The Idaho Horse Council Will Be Eligible.
It Is To Each Applicant's Advantage To Submit A Complete, Neat, Accurate, Andinformative Application Because Of The Competition And Skills Of All The Applicants. Copies Of Email Correspondence Are Not Acceptable. Scholarship Applications May Be Either Mailed To 16114 Idaho Center Blvd. #5. Application Information From Schools You Have Applied To But Will Not Be Enrolling In, Are Not To Be Included. Information Regarding The College You Will Be Attending Must Be Included Under Part 5, Number 5 Of This Application.
